As the new year brings us back to the studio, we have updates regarding the Chicago Vaccine Mandate. As you may know, on January 3, 2022, a vaccine mandate for individuals age 5 and up went into effect for several indoor business entities, including dance studios, in the City of Chicago.  

Beginning Sunday, January 23, students ages 5 and older will be required to provide proof of vaccination upon entry. Individuals age 16+ will be required to provide photo ID along with their proof of vaccine. Those under age 16 will be required to show proof of vaccination. We will not be able to permit entry to anyone 5 years and older who has not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless an exception applies. Proof of the medical or religious exemption and a COVID-19 test administered by a medical professional within the last 72 hours prior to entering a covered location will be required. The City of Chicago mask mandate also remains in effect for all public indoor settings. These mandates come directly from the City of Chicago and we hope you understand that we will be compliant with these direct orders.

Open Company class provides training in ballet, modern, and African-based techniques led by Deeply Rooted’s Artistic Team and guest artists for advanced, pre-professional, and professional level dancers through Zoom.
